Paul Lyda

Owner, General Manager and Sales

Paul began SignAffects in 2006. Prior to that, Paul worked in the financial services industry, banks and internet based companies for 16 years. He holds a BSA from Kent State University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University. He is proud to be listed as an inventor on 3 U.S. Patents. Paul's wife Lisa contributes to the company by helping with inventory & keeping the shop looking tip-top. Their four sons also help around the shop, from grounds work to install. Paul is a dedicated family man who enjoys Kart Racing, football and wrestling.

Heather Prindle

Production & Design Manager

Heather is a graduate of The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She has been with SignAffects since 2007! Heather's positive attitude and attention to customer satisfaction make designing and working with her a wonderful experience! Heather is married and has two sons. She is very artistic and spends her spare time creating wonderful mosaics and other art forms.


Mike Davis

Lead Installer

Mike is a great problem solver and a natural for all the unique sign installations and repair work. Mike has experience with LED, vinyl, wood and metal signs. Most importantly, Mike is very patient and detail oriented! He won't quit until the job is done right. Mike keeps busy racing Karts with his wife and chasing around his young sons.


Ben Lyda

Installer / Designer

Ben has grownup with SignAffects.  Being only 3 when the company was founded, he has had many duties off and on during the years.  Ben also has experience in the construction industry as he installed glass in new construction projects.  He has also raced Karts since he was 5 years old beginning in the Columbus Ohio area.  In doing so with his brothers, he learned at a young age how to work with his hands and how to problem solve.  At SignAffects, Ben has had facilities responsibly and design work prior to moving into the Install arena.  Ben stays busy in his free time by prepping his racing Karts, Racing them, creating music and camping. 

Kimberly Nott

Office Manager

Kim is a dedicated mother to her boys. She views herself as committed, passionate and fun loving. Her no non-sense, down-to-earth approach helps to get to the bottom of any issue and to define what needs to happen to get approval and push the project forward.  In Kim's free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Erika Walker

Project Coordinator / Sales / Customer Manager

Since 2020 Erika has been with Sign Affects where she has been involved in several different roles. When she isn’t working on finding new leads and meeting with clients, she enjoys spending her free time trying out new restaurants, spending time with family & friends, traveling and shopping for home décor. She also dedicates her time volunteering at the Madison County Humane Society where she walks dogs and does dishes and laundry. Being born and raised in Columbus, she is a big fan of THE Ohio State Buckeyes and is also a lover of all holidays and anything seasonal! Erika obtained her Business Management Degree from Clark State College. She works well under pressure and loves to work with others who challenge her.

Matt Lyda

Installer / Job Tracking System Specialist

Matt joined SignAffects full time in 2025.  Matt graduated from Olentangy Liberty and the Delaware Area Career Center with a focus on small engines and diesel mechanics.  He is well-rounded as has jumped right into the Install side of the business. Matt is also undertaking our Job Tracking software so that we can more accurately price and track jobs.  Whenever he gets the chance, Matt can be found at a Kart Track turning laps and spending time with his many friends there.
